Many people read, write and discuss politics every day, especially on the internet. But they frequently miss this key nuance. Are you one of them?

Separate Governments From People

Do you have an opinion about the Iran deal? About a possible peace deal in Korea? What about the ever controvertial Israeli-Palestinian conflict?

How would that opinion impact the way you treated a person from that country if you were to actually meet them?

Many people forget that governments are separate from people. They end up treating individuals based on how they feel about the government of the country that person is a citizen of. Perhaps without even asking them if they support the government in question or not.

Everyone is unique and most have little to no say over what their government is doing. Don’t take it out on them.

  1. Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I
guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new
to everything. Do you have any points for rookie blog writers?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.
